Its Friday, get ready, shorts will try hard to push this under $6 again
We are almost 6 months into 2026. and we can't move past 5/6$. I've wasted years waiting for this stock to move and I'm still in red. I'm an idiot for ever investing in anything chinese in the first place.
Nio is dumb to listed in NYSE in the first place. The price will be 4-5 times the price now if listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange and HKSE/SGX. Nothing wrong with company but very wrong with manipulation from US.
The CEO consistently lies, and diluted the company.
When the share price was extremely low and they had $6B cash on hand, he knew that they'd be forecasting a profit for Q4 2025. He should have done a share buyback with even $0.25-0.5B, and/or purchased shares of a US company (Tesla, Ford, etc) to ground the share price as shorting it would mean you'd have to fight against the institutions holding the US firms' shares, and/or announced looking into US local manufacturing hiring American workers.
He is the reason the valuation is in shambles.

You know this doesn't make a difference? They now are banning anything that includes Chinese tech. Nio can't come over here with it's GPS, Nomi, any of that. It's nothing to do with manufacturing in the US. It's that the US companies don't want any competition and will block Chinese EVS for any and all reasons. It's not something that can be overcome at the moment.
