Sure but when 90% of enquiries are people try to get personal purchases (and asking the same questions over and over) or have such tiny quantities barely anyone makes profit, you can understand why AI is being utilised by factories.

You’re absolutely right. The another main issue lies in limited working hours and heavy workloads. Everyone expects instant replies from staff, yet it’s actually very hard to achieve. Given the slim profit margins of Alibaba-related businesses, most companies cannot afford to arrange 24-hour on-duty customer service

I get why people are frustrated. Alibaba used to feel more direct because you could actually talk to someone quickly. Now it sometimes feels like you are fighting through automated replies before getting real answers. AI can help with repetitive questions, but too much of it makes the platform feel less personal.
