Why the major dip? (Trader)
Author questions why NIO dropped 3% after an 8% pre-market surge following a positive earnings call.
Pre Market the stock was up 8% after a great earnings call, only to dip down 3%. Are there any bad news I'm missing for such a thing to happen? There has to be other factors right?
so good earnings, but expectations were higher by some fund or few. few bog holders exited their positions, nothing strange, just we need retailers to scoop those shares to hold off the drop

No one expected better results than the ones we got yesterday; the reason lies elsewhere, namely that shares of Chinese carmakers fell in US pre-market trading on Friday, caught in a broad decline across US-listed Chinese stocks after Beijing escalated a crackdown on the offshore brokers that channel mainland money into those shares
Nvidia last year had an amazing earnings report yet stock dropped. I know not exactly the same but just saying
I'm sure that fi you buy all the available shares, Nio might still go down
