Can we go up tonight?
Frustrated BABA investor complains about the endless downward bleed and questions when the stock will finally go up.

The answer is buybacks. They have tons and tons and tons of cash with piles coming in. On top of that interest rates are practically nothing in China so the could borrow to build or buyback either one is value accretive at minimal rates.
Management needs to up the buybacks. Capital controls make it so they can’t do a lot in any single year, and they are diluting slowly with SBC so they just need to have buybacks going when at fair value or below
They are spending like $25B a year on Cloud/AI. They are also heavily subsidizing quick delivery. The cash pile is depleting quite fast.
If you want to get a company spending all cash on buybacks rotate to JD.
