Heads up if you traded $GDHG in 2023 there’s a $1.7M settlement ongoing
PSA for $GDHG investors about a $1.7M settlement related to the 2023 Hindenburg report exposing fraudulent amusement park business.
- Hindenburg Research exposed that the company lied about its amusement park business and attendance numbers.
- The stock cratered after the short report revealed the parks were deteriorated and empty.
Hey everyone, throwing out a quick PSA for fellow investors who got caught up in the Golden Heaven Group Holdings ($GDHG) drama back in 2023.
If you remember, the stock absolutely cratered after Hindenburg Research put out a report exposing that the company was basically lying about its amusement park business in China.
They showed that the parks were heavily deteriorated and practically empty, completely contradicting the massive attendance and growth numbers management used to hype up their IPO.
Well, the company has agreed to a $1.7 million settlement, and they are actively accepting claims right now.
If you bought shares during the class period (April 13, 2023 – December 8, 2023), you’re eligible to file for a payout. The estimated payout is sitting around $0.18 per share depending on the total volume of claims filed.
The deadline to submit a claim is September 3, 2026, so you've got some time, but it’s definitely worth knocking out now if you took a hit on this one.
Did anyone else here play the volatility on this short report back then? Are you guys planning on filing?
Classic reminder of how brutal short-report-driven collapses can be when fundamentals and narrative fully disconnect, settlements like this just close the chapter.
Yeah, once investor confidence breaks in these small-cap stocks, the collapse can happen really fast.
