can someone explain the difference between CoCreate and CoCreate Pitch? im so confused lol
User asks about the difference between Alibaba's CoCreate and CoCreate Pitch events, motivated by sign-up rewards.
im thinking about signing up for the alibaba pitch program soon (mostly because just clicking register gives you 1000 accio work points lmao) but im kinda confused about what it actually is.
looking at past posts in this community, "co create" seems like a huge supplier meetup where product developers and sourcing entrepreneurs just network offline and find vendors. is "co create pitch" the exact same thing as that or what?
I think CoCreate is more like the bigger sourcing and networking event, while Co Create Pitch sounds like the actual competition part where people submit or pitch ideas. The names are honestly confusing though.
You go to CoCreate to find a supplier for your product; you enter the CoCreate Pitch to win the money and resources to actually build the company (and hey, getting those 1000 Accio Work points just for registering is a pretty sweet bonus).

So CoCreate is basically Alibaba's big offline sourcing event, think suppliers, manufacturers, and ecom sellers all in one place networking and doing deals. CoCreate Pitch is a separate competition track within it, specifically for product driven startups to pitch their business. Two different things running under the same umbrella. The Accio Work points thing is a bonus for signing up, not really the main draw but hey free points are free points.
CoCreate is like a huge IRL networking meetup to find suppliers, something like that, and at CoCreate, you pitch your ideas at the meetup to win a massive bag.
CoCreate is generally more of a large offline sourcing and networking event where buyers, brands, and suppliers connect to discover products and manufacturing partners. CoCreate Pitch is usually a more focused program where you pitch ideas or products directly for feedback, exposure, or potential sourcing support within the Alibaba ecosystem.

From the information I’ve gathered so far, Co Create Pitch feels more like a section or extension of Co Create itself, even though they have separate websites. Would love to hear from someone who understands it better.
