Post body

Hey guys,

I’m from China and I work in vehicle export.

Over the last couple years I’ve helped export dozens of cars overseas — mostly Chinese brands like BYD, Geely, Changan, Dongfeng, Jetour, etc.

A lot of people outside China seem curious (or confused) about Chinese cars, especially EVs, so I thought maybe I could answer questions here if anyone’s interested.

Things people usually ask me about:

\- Are Chinese EVs actually good?

\- Why are prices in China so much cheaper?

\- How does importing from China work?

\- Are “dealer test-drive cars” worth buying?

\- Which brands are actually respected inside China?

\- How risky is buying from Chinese suppliers?

\- Shipping/logistics/export process

\- Spare parts & maintenance concerns

\- Used cars vs new cars

I’m not some huge corporation or polished salesman.

Just someone actually working in this space and learning as I go.

Most of my customers are from Eastern Europe, CIS countries, Africa, and developing markets.

I’ve also recently started exploring construction machinery exports, though honestly I’m still learning that side myself.

Anyway, if you have questions about Chinese cars or importing from China, feel free to ask. I’ll answer as honestly as I can.
