While we are expecting 40k and up for both May and June, I believe it will be more of a scale up. I’m looking at 35k for May and 48k for June.
Quite possible, a scale up as you suggested maybe more likely. In any case Total Q2 this year will be fantastic; expect over 60 % YoY increase
If not 40 K, it will be very close to it . All-New L80, ES9, and ET5, ES6, EC6 upgrades all unveiled last week of April in Beijing auto show.
People holding back on purchases leading to the unveiling of new models is totally expected. Still NIO delivered 29,356 vehicles in April 2026, increasing by 22.8% YoY when EV sales were mostly down in China . You call this a disaster !?
ES9 order intake has been way above expectations. The only unknown is how many of them were able to deliver in the last 2-3 days left in the month . Even 35K sales would be 50 % increase YoY from 23,231. I’m optimistic all new models and upgrades will beat expectations. Fingers crossed!
That’s peanuts (6-7%) for a stock which trades 50 mil shares /day. Don’t expect much short squeeze if that was why you meant. Short have come down from almost 200 mil , so short covering was underway for few months it seems.
