Help with Anhui Dixin machinery
Buyer complains about customs seizures, machine incompatibility, and unresponsive seller after buying from Anhui Dixin machinery.
- Severe customs and freight forwarding issues resulted in massive fines and delays.
- Machine failed to work with conveyor belts despite extensive troubleshooting.
- Seller went completely silent and abandoned customer support.
I bought a horizontal wrapping machine from this company over two years ago. Had an issue with US Customs seizing the machine even though I'm in CANADA due to the freight forwarder shipping it LCL with another client's material that was illegal in the US.
Ended up a year fighting with US Customs for a year and paying 150 percent of the value of the shipment in fines and extra freight and stowage costs.
I should have let the US Customs keep the machine because after all of the issues the machine was not set up to work with the conveyor belts it was shipped with.
I have spent over 30 hours trying to figure out the control systems. Schneider ATV12.
In the beginning Mike the owner of the company was helpful in supplying a manual. Typical chinglish stuff, but with pictures that I should be able to figure out. But even with three different wiring charts and hours of testing and analysis. I still cannot get it to work . I think no single is being sent from the main control system to the belts controller
Mike has gone radio silent for the last two weeks. I even had a friend in china call him, who was able to get him to send the third wiring diagram, but he has gone silent for my friend as well.
Is there anyone out there that has one of these machines that has a few minutes to help me figure this out ?
Have you tried contacting the supplier directly through Alibaba messaging? Many manufacturers like Anhui Dixin Machinery respond faster there. Also check their trade assurance status and transaction history on Alibaba. Sometimes similar machinery listings exist with verified reviews which can help you compare pricing and legitimacy before making any decisions.
For the first point, it was probably sent on some dodgy DDP channel and they were penny counting hence the whole thing went negatively.
In terms of finding support for this machine only real advice is posting videos to Youtube and trying to find any kind of forum which may have some relevance.
You could also see if you can find any other supplier and pay them for consulting. Otherwise "Mike" probably is not going to be very helpful when you add all the red flags together. Probably is a trading company who has never used the machine themselves.
It was not ddp but yes I agree the freight forwarder messed up. The manufacturer said it was force majeure so they were not liable for anything.
I will try and find another company. I thought I had found a real one.

There is no logic for the operation of the belt system. It was originally wired to run of optic sensors, independant of the main. System. I am trying to Integrate it together. The three different wiring diagrams supplied do not activate the belts.

Are you not clear about the operating system
The operating system is understood. It is the wiring logistics that is the problem. The manual they supplied does not align with how the machine is wired. And the schematics they have provide do not have the same labels as the controllers
I have found the manuals for the controllers and learning how the triggers work. I have an electrician friend who is trying to help me figure out the logistics
