First time requesting for refund and the sell told me to do this?? Should I follow or leave my cancel request as is? I feel like I am being scammed

I essentially receive the products with the boxed damaged and product exposed.

The seller wants you to cancel your refund request so you can’t open another dispute

They also keep a percentage of the money for service fee which I think is bullshit! I placed an order and canceled within 5 minutes, why did they charge me $30? I disputed that and they told me the $30 is a service fee that’s non refundable. I was so made!

What was the reason for refund? I would like to help you. How did you open it? Also chat with Alibaba customer service explain the situation. They will help you to open a proper refund application.

The product came with a broken box and content was missing

I do have photo of the damage box arrival - they keep on refusing my return and trying to have me change the reason to inconsistent vs damage product.

Charge back from your bank, card issuer or your selected payment method. With screenshots of product and any communication with the seller and platform. I have had very good response from revolut, they refunded me when the platfrom wouldn't in just 2 hours. I only pay via revolut now.
