I just got this same message, and I was told it was cause of updates they’re making to the system till June 6th and that messaging will be available again after June 6th. My friend was able to send messages tho so I’m not sure exactly why some people are experiencing this

Looks like a common Alibaba notification glitch. Sometimes messages appear even when you never initiated contact due to spam accounts, duplicate accounts, or system sync issues between email alerts and Message Center. Check login history, linked emails, and block suspicious accounts. Also clear cache or contact support for verification. needed

The same thing is happening to me. I have a new account. I chatted with one vendor, then when I went to contact another vendor, this started happening

I think your accounts probably been restricted, I’ve had that recently. Due to “high returns” so silly. I just had to make a new one
