Anti-NIO bears said that NIO ES8 sales would fizzle out after December 2025. It's currently June 2026 and NIO ES8 sales are still going strong.
NIO bears have been wrong about nearly everything but the market valuation.
I know that it is little consolation to the people in this forum who are investors and underwater, but even disappointed investors should feel some satisfaction at how well NIO the company is doing.
In June we will see NIO dominate sales for premium and luxury EV vehicles in China, the world's largest and most competitive EV market. Every wealthy customer is pulled into the high retention NIO ecosystem of battery swap and industry leading customer service, meaning that NIO is locking in the most valuable customer base in China.
NIO has a position that is enviable and is envied by the competition. People often compare NIO to Tesla, but I'd say a better comparison is to say NIO is becoming the Huawei of China. Succeeding despite all odds, cutthroat competitors, black PR, and emerging as the premier, innovative, world-class Chinese company in its industry.
I think Nio will take off after full year profitability, if not before. I’m not worried at all about the share price in the short term. The company is doing great! Have a great weekend, everyone

People can't seem to fathom that NIO seems to have hit the nail with the updated models and the NT 2 platform.
NIOs strong sales in both Shanghai and Zhejian should be a good indication of how NIOs branding is taking root.
Costs are way down and margins are expanding too.
The problem is GX is cheap, when someone has 500K RMB budget for a car, he may not consider GX as it’s not premium enough.
I guess I should have clarified with a sarcasm tag after that comment. I agree. I've seen recurring comments in a few places calling the GX and range rover copy
