Our shit posting is of a higher quality.

You know things were bad when we have 100+ comments on a Saturday afternoon.

I just came to whine about my sunburn to the void. 😭

We sell options, wheel stocks, cook and share recipe, ride bikes….

And there’s this one guy here who wants to take his $100K, theta strategy and retire in Thailand.

My younger kid is pure evil. Since he turned 8 and summer just started, I decided time for him to learn to do laundry and fold his clothes.

Mofo goes to his and mom and tells her “Dad taught me to fold clothes and you don’t do it like him.”

Lmao

My wife has some weird hang-ups about how clothes go away. I refuse to follow them. This is maybe our biggest source of tension.

I got my daughter set up for a Trump account. She's too old for the $1000 but should get the $200 from rich uncle Dell.

How does one put out the option of family contributing to the account without it coming off as expected? I'm not great with the people and emotions but man I'd love if the grand parents did that instead buying more disposable junk that sits around my house.

The wheel is a bad strategy. 10% a year is far from guaranteed but reasonably achievable without jumping into options trading. Where the hell are you going on vacation that $1000 covers two trips? This would be one frugal weekend to the beach in my neck of the woods.

I was waiting for a few end of week posts about their progress. Maybe their accounts blew on Friday.

I totally missed the news on Friday that MRVL is joining the S&P500

Fine. Since, Karen won’t do it, I’ll do it.

The terminal is glowing, the Mac Mini is hot, but you missed the top headline that the index just got.

You can map out the chip sets and track every node, but you completely ignored the rebalancing code.

Institutional buyers are moving the floor, while you’re staring at charts, locked behind your own door.

If you want to avoid the next major "Guh!" moment, it might be time to program a basic RSS news feed into that household server of yours.

Otherwise, you're just a retail guy with fancier spreadsheets.

I wanna learn about options. Should I start with Mike and His Whiteboard by tastytrade or just read options as strategic investment?

u/es_cl 3· 7d ago

Learn the Greeks; delta, gamma, theta and Vega. Once you understand them, then it’ll make all the options videos easier to understand

u/IntegralVertex 3· 7d ago

You should start at you brokerage, they should have training material, then move to YT there are bunch of videos, if your brokerage offers paper money, trade it first so that you understand the how options work.
