Anyone have suggestions for a logistics/ shipping company
User seeks recommendations for a consolidated shipping company to import goods from China via Alibaba.
I have a bunch of things I need to order from China for my boss via Alibaba & thought if I can maybe use 1 shipper to ship all the things we are ordering instead of paying 10 different shipping fees, I’d assume I’d save money, anyone using someone they are trusting? Trying to find someone that can do fast sea shipping, then get it to the house.
Any feedback or advice on this? Usually I just pay each supplier their shipping fee via DDP.

Basically you are asking for shipment consolidation which is normal and does have real savings.
You will however need to discuss INCOTERMS as depending on the order value they may want to be the exporter of record which when consolidating, cannot usually be done.

yeah paying 10 separate DDP fees will completely destroy your margins. just search for a freight forwarder directly on alibaba and have all your suppliers ship to their domestic warehouse in china, then the forwarder will bundle it all into one fast sea DDP shipment to your boss's door. just make sure to pay the forwarder through trade assurance too so your money stays safe.
