I wanted to show my friends how good I am at investing. So, I started this little IRA account, loaded it with money only once (never made any monthly deposits) and have self directed it these past few years.
I chose to buy into everyday stocks (ones we can all name off the top of our heads), with only 1 rule: no meme stocks, no crypto coin ETFS, no AI stocks.
I think my YTD, 1 YR, and 3 YR returns are pretty great!!
Playing the long game.
Just FYI, I’ve been investing since I was 11 years old (back when my dad would help me acquire stocks).
