What would happen if Panda Express went public?

Panda Express is private and pays surprisingly well. If they can do it, how much of the wage pressure at public companies is actually driven by shareholders demanding higher profits? Meanwhile, many publicly traded companies are cutting costs and laying off workers, Panda is offering fast food workers a six figure position… what would actually happen if they went public?
