PSA: Reject Mini-Tender Offer Like From "Potemkin Limited"
PSA: Reject predatory mini-tender offers from entities like Potemkin Limited that try to buy shares far below market value.
Apparently there are companies/scammers that somehow get wind that you hold shares of company stock and offer to purchase those shares from you, FAR below market value.
If you are solicited by them, just trash them, and post about them online to help others not get scammed.

It blows me away that there are companies like that which are allowed to exist to solicit in such a scamming sort of way, rather than buy/sell within the trading market like normal.
Solicitation like this should be punishable.
Naming your company potemkin is certainly a choice. I wonder who's behind it.
Elaborate? I don't understand. I know when I searched on the name, results showed Russian/military linkage, and I had to make my search more biased.

He as a famous 1700s Russian general. Specifically for scamming his leadership into believing that he captured lands more valuable than they actually were... hence the balls to name your scam company after a legendary scammer.
He made "Potemkin villages", essentially painted cardboard cutouts of whole towns, to impress Catherine the Great when she toured his recently conquored Crimean region, cause it was just poor unprosperous agrarian land and he was tryna get a promotion (& probably fuck too).
