Breaking News: Trump said Iran has agreed to a deal and they just need to sign it. Oil futures?
Trump claims Iran agreed to a deal, potentially easing sanctions and boosting oil supply, which could pressure oil prices down despite SPR refills.
- Easing sanctions on Iran would increase global crude oil supply.
- Increased Iranian oil exports could push gas prices below $2 per gallon, pressuring oil futures downward.
Trump said Iran has agreed to a deal and only needs to sign it. During an Oval Office signing ceremony, he described it as major breaking news and suggested that once the issue is resolved, gas prices could fall below $2 per gallon.
Putting politics aside, if sanctions on Iranian oil exports were eased and additional Iranian crude entered the market, how much downward pressure could that realistically put on oil prices? Would U.S. purchases to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) be large enough to offset a meaningful portion of that increased supply, or is the SPR simply too small relative to the global oil market?
Trump has announced a plan every week for two months
Every other day for two months
What are you smoking?
“Trump said…” Imma stop you right there because anything that comes out of his mouth after that is bullshit.
Until Iran confirms it, ignore it.
It’s crazy how many people haven’t learned since at least 2016 that this dude lies anytime he opens his fucking mouth
Not that simple. He lies a lot, but sprinkles in enough tru-ism's to keep people guessing. When it comes to peace treaties with Iran it all seems to be b.s.
My impression is that Iran is playing him. They want a war. They want us to be forced to invade.
It is impossible to tell based on what we hear from the 'leaders'.
Trump. Is. Not. A. Source.
Bud, I’ve heard this 69 times in the last 3 months.
Its literally been 39 times. Someone counted lol
69 in my heart
I think 39 was at the start of the week. Its about 40-41 by now. Lol
nice
Trump's a fucking moron and I don't believe a word he says
Trump always tell the truth.
Oil prices will spike when Hormuz opens. Supply will go up, and demand will go WAY, WAY UP as everyone rushes to fill their oil reserves before the US or Israel does something else dumb.
- If they didnt sign they didnt agree yet.
- Iran will probably once again say they know nothing about a deal.
- Any deal will fail within 24 hours anyways.
Didn’t they just say they were gonna bomb them two hours ago??
Stop trying to play this topic , it’s not worth it. whatever the attitude is at 930 am it’ll be different at 4 .
I don't see this on bloomberg. Fake news?
Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it! Pump it and dump it!
This is not news, you are all witnessing media commentators.
I'm tired
No one buying shit

This is literally like the 39th time he's said a deal is imminent. He lies; he's a liar; all the time. He has no credibility and no benefit of the doubt. He says things specifically to pump stocks or ease markets. In this case, the headlines are that we got a really bad inflation report primarily driven by energy; therefore, he wants to say that gas prices will be lower soon. It's literally not more complicated than that.
Bro you need to get your hearing checked. He said we are continuing to strike them hard today.
The breaking news he mentioned was we've been smuggling oil out every night. Millions of barrels. Which is why oil is at 90 and not 200 right now. Iran finally figured it out. That is why oil bounced a bit. Might not be able to do that anymore...

is this a joke? Gas prices will take a year to go back to where they were, and nowhere will they be below $2 a gallon unless there is a massive recession
