is trade assurance enough protection when sourcing automotive spare parts from alibaba?

I'm planning to source automotive spare parts from Alibaba, including C.V. joint boots and other drivetrain components.

Many suppliers offer Trade Assurance, and I'm trying to understand whether it provides enough protection when dealing with quality issues, incorrect specifications, or products that don't match the agreed standards.

For those who have imported automotive parts, how reliable has Trade Assurance been when resolving disputes? Do you still arrange third-party inspections, request samples, or use additional contracts before placing larger orders?
