I made a Tool

Investor summaryNeutral

The author is seeking beta testers for a new TradingView calculator tool designed for synthetic options strategies, using COST as an example.

Post body

Im looking for Beta testers, this is for people who use synthetic option strategies. Im a big fan of them.

Its a calculator, and it attempts to

A. Help control risk

B. project forward into the future what the underlying asset would have to be in terms of price in order for you to recover X percentage of your risk

C. Prints Break Even and Goal lines based on an assumed loss of all time Value remaining in the option.

D. Theta Decay forward projection - In this mode, all things being equal will show Theta Decays affect day to day on your option premium and therefore its effect on your Risk/Reward ratio. Again... only a projection.

This is meant for Swing trading, and for someone to check their positions on a daily basis and update any changes to IV/greeks for optimum accuracy.

It in theory COULD be used for Day trading using 0-1DTE options but I'd imagine one would have to update the greeks often, maybe every hour to account for end of day wackiness with the Greeks on Options about to expire.

If you're an active Synthetic Options trader and wanna give it a shot, I'd love for you to Beta test it for me, it will remain open to you permanently on trading view.

This is a picture of the calculator estimating a Synthetic Call on Costco, Projecting Theta Decay on Goals into the future
