Don’t know a thing about stocks, seriously it’s like a foreign language to me.

Hello everyone, I’m a mechanic at an airline and I have a 2 year old son. I don’t know a damn thing about the stock market, trading or investing, but I want to get involved with it since I see a lot of people making a few hundred bucks explode into several thousand. I’m not asking anyone here to break all this down for me, more so I just want to get pointed in the right direction as far as books to read or YouTube channels that aren’t scams or bad information on the subject. Any recommendations?
