I need support since no one in my real life would be happy for me! 400k at 33.
A 33yo shares pride in reaching a $400k investment milestone via frugality and long-term commitment, despite lacking real-life support.
I \[33F\] just reached my $400k milestone in investments.
I’ve lived very modest for most of my 20’s (possessions and rent lifestyle) and 10% was from inheritance after my grandparents passed.
I had about 60% of this in cash at one point and almost bought myself a home, but then I made the hard decided to invest in the market instead.
I know investing isn’t always steady but I’m in it for the long haul.
This $400k milestone is not something I receive support from anyone in my real life, sadly.
I’m so proud of myself and while other things in my life are dull and I don’t have a support system in real life, I know that I’m doing the best I can to protect my future self in old age.
