If you are hyper bullish on GLPs… what investments do you consider?
Author shares positive GLP-1 experience, is bearish on alcohol/fast food, questions LLY/NVO due to generic competition, and asks about downstream beneficiaries like VSCO.
- GLP-1 drugs deliver tangible health benefits, driving rapid consumer adoption
- Downstream beneficiaries (e.g. body-confidence retailers) may emerge as the trend grows
- Cheaper third-party sources and generics threaten LLY/NVO pricing power and market share
- Alcohol and fast-food chains face declining demand as GLP adoption spreads
Keeping a long story short I recently got on GLPs for alcoholism and it worked almost immediately (I am not overweight)
Within a few weeks my bloodwork retest showed massive gains. I’m eating drastically healthier, and exercising and sleeping better.
I’m quite bearish on alcohol and certain fast food chains as the population becomes more and more accepting of these drugs.
Obviously LLY or NVO are decent options, but it isn’t even clear if these guys will be the winners as so many people are finding cheaper 3rd parties, generics, etc to get their doses from.
Victorias Secret popped off recently given how confident many Americans are stating to get with their bodies.
What other stocks might be connected in a way similar to VSXY?
