Should I move my 401(k) to Rollover IRA ?

Investor summaryNeutral

Author asks whether to roll over an old 401(k) to an IRA for more options, despite a solid 11.4% return.

Post body

I’m trying to decide if I should move my old job 401(k) to an IRA. I simply want to move it cause I’d have more investment options and easier to manage than having to log into my old job website to view it.

I am getting a 11.4% return and one person close to me suggested I leave it be as it’s doing quite well. I see a lot of people say to be careful with a backdoor Roth IRA income limit. I highly doubt I’d ever need a Roth IRA and I honestly don’t know much about that or how it works.

Looking for suggestions on what to do based on the return I’m getting.
