Is the market rigged?

This may sound silly and like a conspiracy theory, but it’s kinda strange how every time I sell a stock it usually goes up the next day. Like literally no matter how much research I do on a company the moment I buy it it goes down and then stays flat until I sell it. Part of me is saying it’s not really bad luck but more of just the market waiting you out until you sell. Thoughts?
