If I staying in the semiconductor sector, rebalancing is pointless now

Investor summaryBullish

Author feels the semiconductor sector is in a crypto-like bull run where stocks move together, so holding the leader beats rebalancing.

Bull points
  • The semiconductor sector feels like a crypto bull run with strong upward momentum.
  • Stocks in the sector move together, making holding the leading stock more effective than rebalancing.

Post body

I've only been investing in stocks for about a 15 months,

Maybe it's because the market feels almost like a crypto bull run right now,

but from what I've seen

When one drops, they all tend to drop by similar percentages.

When one goes up, they all tend to go up too, just by different amounts.

Just stick with the one that's leading the sector is better than rebalncing now.

I'm not saying this based on any deep logic. It's just how the market feels to me.
