I built a private options backtesting platform for myself over several years
Developer shares a personal full-stack options backtesting platform and offers lifetime access for a one-time fee.
I've been quietly building a full-stack options backtesting and analytics platform for my own trading education, obsessing over having the perfect tool.
It allows you to backtest various options strategies such as covered calls, cash-secured puts, spreads, and more complex ones. Choose the date to travel to, open the underlying stock chart for analysis, make decisions based on the IV, IVR, and IVP, practice rolling and managing your positions, or get assigned to see how it works. It's the closest thing to a trading simulator with real market conditions I've ever seen, because I built it to teach myself. These are the skills that take years to develop, and this platform compresses that learning curve.
Why am I posting this?
I spent years and significant resources building this. It was never meant to be a product - it was my personal trading notebook. But people who've seen it keep asking for access. I'm not going to open-source this or sell subscriptions. Lifetime access for a reasonable one-time investment is the only model I'm comfortable with.
P.S. The repository also includes Jupyter notebooks, historical market data, and a lot more that I haven't even mentioned here.
