Have you used Barebone.ai? Is it worth the steep price?

Investor summaryNeutral

Author questions if the expensive AI investment app Barebone.ai is just a well-structured prompt wrapper.

Post body

Hey has anyone used the app barebone.ai it seems useful but SO expensive $40+/month for what seems to be a perplexity wrapper as an app??

Here’s what it offers which seems fishy:

\- INVESTMENT RESEARCH

Instant, deep analysis on any stock or asset

\- NEWS INTELLIGENCE

Personal, daily briefing on market-moving news

\- REDDIT TRENDING ANALYSIS

Know which stocks are trending on Reddit and why

\- TRACK INSIDER TRADES

Follow the trades of politicians and insiders

\- PORTFOLIO ANALYSIS

Dissect and optimize your investment in one click

They make it look nice and useful and have some cool looking tools but it looks like that can be solved with a Claude prompt for each topic? Is the app just well structured prompts that people are essentially paying for?

I would love to know if anyone actually found it useful…Thank you everyone!
