Wrapping up June a bit early since I’m busy on service with my day job. It’s been an excellent month overall. Feel free to check my post history here on r/TQQQ for full context. Caught some great moves. Closed my puts early on the June 5 dip and losing less, initiated a Buy-Write on June 10, rolled the Calls up twice, let it get assigned and locked in profits on the rest before the drop. Only blemish was getting assigned my $72 puts last Friday. Didn’t expect the Russell rebalancing and subsequent $1 dump in TQQQ 2 minutes before close. I’m now a proud holder of $2.4M worth of TQQQ.
Pulled these screenshots directly from Fidelity (edited out the total balance for privacy). Fidelity users here will know the Performance tab doesn’t perfectly mirror the account balances. On top of that, these figures actually exclude my Brokeragelink account since Fidelity leaves it out of the main Performance tab metrics.
If you’re seeing this for the first time. I have been posting my updates since January for personal accountability. It forces consistency, keeps me disciplined and prevents me from getting lazy or deviating from my strategy. Not selling anything. Keep grinding.
What was the starting balance on Jan 1st 2026
Started with $8260 in dividends on Jan 1.
A good strike for a short put would have been below the 50 day
where is the 50 day now? honest question
Heck, actually where it's trading now. Well $71.30. That correlates with QQQ at its 50 day of 702.
What’s your average price ?
$72 minus the $0.5 to 0.8 in premiums.
