Switching GOOGL, META, MSFT, and AMZN, For NBIS?

Investor summaryBullish

Selling mega-cap tech (GOOGL, META, MSFT, AMZN) to go all-in on NBIS for faster AI growth, seeking advice on DCA vs lump sum.

Bull points
  • Hyperscalers have shown poor growth this year, making them less attractive.
  • NBIS is positioned for rapid growth within the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
Bear points
  • Allocating a third of the portfolio to a single stock introduces severe concentration risk.
  • The author is highly nervous and uncertain, indicating emotional rather than purely logical decision-making.

Post body

Hi,

I am considering selling the above, which is around one-third of my portfolio, and putting it all into NBIS. The hyperscalers have had poor growth this year, and NBIS seems set to grow rapidly.

The rest of my portfolio is in semis, networking/photonics, and cooling. Basically, it's heavily linked to AI. I plan to transition some of it out over the next 1–3 years, depending on earnings.

The mega hyperscalers gave me some form of anchor. But I have researched NBIS quite a bit. I even bought and sold it about a year ago. I bought it on hype and felt I needed to understand the company more, so I took profit because I felt I had too many plates spinning.

I am seriously considering selling the mega hyperscalers and going all in on NBIS. It would become around one-third of my portfolio. If it collapsed, it would be a big loss, but it wouldn't ruin me. I'm in my late 20s, and its towards supporting a vague goal of FIRE.

I just feel a bit nervous. Have any experienced investors done something similar? If I do it, should I DCA, or maybe go all in later this week during this dip?
