Post body

I bought Google and AMD about 8½ months ago, investing $35k in each.

Current returns:

AMD: \+130.24%

Google: \+37.50%

I’m not saying Google is a bad investment. It’s done fine. I just think there are opportunities with greater upside. I know these stocks is comparing apples to oranges, but my goal is simply to maximize ROI. These just happen to be the opportunities I’m currently considering.

I’m considering either selling and:

A. Buying SK Hynix once it starts trading in the U.S.

Or

B. Buying more AMD since I’m still bullish long term.

Also, should I wait until Google qualifies for long term capital gains before selling? Where I live its 1 year and 1 day to qualify. I almost feel like the opportunity cost could outweigh it since it wouldn’t allow me to get SK early or AMD at a potentially better price.
