EPAM just got dropped from the S&P 500

Investor summaryNeutral

EPAM dropped from S&P 500 with a $6B market cap, yet revenue keeps growing. Is it a value trap or a turnaround play?

Bull points
  • Revenue has consistently grown from $1.16B in 2016 to $5.46B last year, showing underlying business strength despite stock price decline.
  • Stock appears beaten down and potentially oversold relative to its actual fundamental performance.
Bear points
  • Dropped from the S&P 500 to the S&P 600, which often triggers forced selling by index funds.
  • Market cap has significantly contracted to around $6B, raising concerns that it might be a dead money value trap.

Post body

EPAM got kicked out of the S&P 500 a few weeks back (bumped down to the S&P 600, market cap's down to around $6B now).

I went and looked at the actual revenue and honestly it's not as dead as the price makes it look. It kept climbing the whole time, from under $1.16B in 2016 to $5.46B last yea

Dead money and a value trap, or a beaten down name right before it turns? Anyone here actually holding it?
